warranty

TIMBERLAND CABINETRY, warrants the original consumer purchaser that cabinet products will be free from defects for a period of one (1) year under normal use from the dates of purchase. This warrants only residential use and is non-transferable to subsequent owners.

Should defects in material or workmanship exist during the warranty period, TIMBERLAND CABINETRY will elect at its discretion to either repair or replace defective material or component. This warranty only covers parts and material of the product supplied by TIMBERLAND CABINETRY. Items not covered by this warranty are countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, and etc. or the costs, including labor to remove and reinstall materials and related components such as fittings, appliances, etc.

This warranty will become void if the cabinets are in any way modified, improperly installed or damaged prior to or during installation. This warranty will not apply to cabinets that have been damaged by misuse, neglect, abuse, acts of God, exposure to extreme temperature or the effects of normal wear and tear. The warranty will be void if the cabinets are cleaned with a non-approved cleaner (Please see the “Timberland” suggested cleaners for your cabinet listed in our CABINET CARE guide). This warranty will become void if the humidity level in the home is below 45% or above 55% which will result in the doors shrinking. TIMBERLAND CABINETRY highly suggests that a humidity control system be placed on the Central HVAC unit to maintain the proper moisture content of 45% to 55% humidity with the home. Natural woods may vary in color, characteristic and may change as they age. For example, white painted cabinets may eventually have visible cracking around the joints where wood is joined together and the cabinet color may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may also affect the color over time, which is a normal condition. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material and are not covered under this limited warranty.

The repairs or replacements are contingent upon the current product offering of styles and construction at the time of warranty claim. If a warranty claim is filed after a product becomes obsolete, TIMBERLAND CABINETRY reserves the right to honor the warranty in one of the following manners:

• To replace the affected component with a new component of the same style.
• The replacement of the affected component and any other components in the residential application to achieve a uniform appearance with a similar and comparable product style of the originally purchased style.

If components are replaced, TIMBERLAND CABINETRY cannot guarantee the finish of these replacements will exactly match the finish and appearance of the components in the residential application. This is due to the natural aging process of wood and colors.

TIMBERLAND CABINETRY reserves the right to alter design, specifications and material without obligation to make similar changes to previously manufactured products.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY OF TIMBERLAND CABINETRY AND IS IN LIEU OF AND TIMBERLAND CABINETRY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRNTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WRRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
